又 yòu again

This is an easy character to write and it's a very useful character. Then you can write another character 友 [yǒu] which means friend as in péngyou. There are a whole lot of characters incorporating this graphic element and I've plotted them on a character map. Contact me for more details. christophermccoll@yahoo.co.uk

    yes, we should learn from the easy hanzi. Any tips on how to memorize hanzi in long term?

    I think deconstructing hanzi into their component elements and playing around with those elements helps. Trying to learn characters in a logical sequence also helps and learning similar characters together, but in the end you've got to "train your brain" to recognise them and any way you can find of doing that is good.
